Ahala Stool

Compact mango wood stool with upholstered seat, designed to slide under vanities for space efficiency while maintaining warmth, durability, and comfort.

Description

The Ahala Stool extends the design language of the Ahala collection into a more compact, versatile form, offering seating that works as hard as it looks good. Designed to tuck neatly beneath a vanity, it supports tighter footprints without compromising on material presence or guest comfort.

The base is crafted from solid mango wood, shaped into a continuous, sculptural frame that balances softness with structure. Its curved profile creates visual flow while maintaining stability, making it suitable for daily use in high-traffic hospitality environments. The upholstered seat provides a comfortable, supportive surface, with fabric options that can be specified to align with the broader room palette.

Beyond aesthetics, the Ahala Stool is built for practical use. Its open form allows for easy positioning and repositioning, while its proportions are intentionally scaled to slide under vanities or desks when not in use, helping maintain a clean and uncluttered guestroom layout. This makes it especially effective in properties where space efficiency is a priority, from boutique layouts to high-density urban rooms.

Material selection also supports responsible sourcing. Mango wood is a byproduct of the fruit industry, harvested only after trees have completed their productive lifecycle. Rather than being discarded, the material is repurposed into durable applications, reducing waste. It also retains carbon absorbed during the tree’s growth, meaning the material continues to store that carbon throughout its lifespan as a finished product.

As with all Paradigm Trends furniture, the Ahala Stool can be adapted across finishes, upholstery, and dimensions to align with project-specific needs. Whether paired with the Ahala Bench or specified independently, it delivers a cohesive, hospitality-ready solution that supports both design intent and operational ease.
